Biography

Jessica is a highly skilled professional with a passion for public policy, healthcare, and international relations. As an Analyst at Nexus, Jessica provides analytical support to assist clients navigate the complex political and regulatory environments, both within Australia and abroad.

Jessica leads in the preparation of strategic plans, engagement strategies, briefing documents, and landscape assessments, with strong account management principles and attention to detail.

Jessica has brought her expertise working in law as a paralegal in general and specialised family law firms, where she gained experience liaising with clients, drafting advice, record-keeping, and file management. In these roles, Jessica assisted counsel and clients in meetings, mediations, and court appearances, which provided her with experience on complex and sensitive matters.

Jessica holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Social Science from Macquarie University, where she graduated with Honours. This has provided her with a broad range of skills and knowledge in Australian and global politics, policy, and law. Jessica was awarded the Macquarie Law School Prize for Academic Excellence in the unit Animal Law, and in her final capstone placement with BaptistCare NSW, was nominated for the Judyth Sachs PACE Prize Award. These roles and experiences furthered Jessica’s passion for social justice, better access to healthcare, and women’s economic empowerment.
