Shane Martin

Shane is a leading public policy and affairs professional with extensive executive experience in policy, corporate affairs, advocacy and consulting. His previous experience involves working as a CEO and Executive Director for Association Groups Master Plumbers ACT and Property Council of Australia respectively, leading the association and achieving important policy change for sustainable industry growth. Prior to his time in associations Shane worked for a big 4 consulting firm in Canberra advising government departments on policy and process improvements.   He also worked within a Labor Ministerial Office in the South Australian government advising on transport and infrastructure matters. Shane brings this CEO and Executive experience and skills working with clients on corporate strategy, policy reform, advocacy and public affairs.

Shane is a Director at Nexus based in the Canberra Office where he leads Nexus’s thought leadership and key growth areas in the areas of property, infrastructure, and capital markets.
