The Prime Minister, together with the Assistant Minister to the Deputy Prime Minister, the Hon Luke Hartsuyker MP, and the Hon Melinda Pavey MP, NSW Minister for Roads, Maritime and Freight, were on hand in Northern NSW on Monday to officially open a 14km stretch of new, divided highway from Kempsey to Kundabung.

While Monday’s announcement was to unveil the first section of the Oxley Highway to Kempsey, according to a statement released by the Prime Minister, there will be an additional 57km of new four-lane divided road over the coming six months.

This particular section of road was a$230m joint funding package between the Commonwealth and the NSW Government.
