Biography

Through her previous work within territory politics, law and government across public and private sectors Mary bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to Nexus. Before joining the team, Mary worked in a commercial law firm where she gained an understanding of legal issues facing clients and a strong understanding of government contracts.

Previously, Mary worked in the Australian Public Service, and she gained a wide range of experience across different sectors. This involved understanding and evaluating government programme and policy implementation and building relationships across government departments.

As part of the Nexus team, Mary applies the skills she developed whilst working within the corporate sector, departmental and political sector as a staffer within the ACT Legislative Assembly. These included researching and analysing data, building networks and connections, event management, and crisis and localised communications.

Mary is currently in her penultimate year of her Juris Doctor at the Australian National University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics at the Australian National University in 2017.
